I hereby declare :

1. I am a citizen of India and practice law in India.

2. I am fluent in written and spoken English.

3. If selected, I agree to follow the instructions provided by the Pegasus Scholarship Trust regarding my placement and stay in the U.K.

4. If selected, I agree to submit, within one month of the completion of the programme, a report of my experience in the U.K. to The Kapila & Nirmal Hingorani Foundation in the prescribed manner and, if possible, associate with the Foundation to carry out its aims and objects.

5. I understand that, if selected, I will be given a stipend to cover living costs in London and will also be given assistance in securing accommodation in London. I am aware that the Scholarship does not cover any other expenses, such as return flight tickets, visa, travel-related costs and insurance (medical/health, travel). I will bear such expenses. It will be my responsibility to meet Covid-19 pandemic related requirements to visit the U.K. I agree that the Foundation has no responsibility should I contract Covid-19 or require medical care. I will complete all modalities in respect of the Scholarship well within time.

6. I agree that the decision of the The Kapila & Nirmal Hingorani Foundation regarding the award of the Scholarship to the candidate of its choice will be final. I will not have any grievance in that respect, if not selected, and will not engage in correspondence with the Foundation in connection with the award of Scholarship.

7. I understand and agree that the Scholarship Programme is subject to the Covid-19 pandemic related conditions prevailing at the time of the visit to the U.K. I agree that should I be selected but am unable to visit the U.K. due to any reason (including Covid-19 pandemic related conditions), the Scholarship awarded to me will lapse and I will not have any grievance in that regard.
